Elder Law Day will be held on June 18

The Erie County Department of Senior Services and the Center for Elder Law and Justice will host Elder Law Day 2018 from 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Monday, June 18, at the Adam’s Mark Hotel, 120 Church St., Buffalo. The event will feature seminars on legal issues of interest to older adults, caregivers and aging service professionals to assist them in making decisions about their health and long-term-care needs. German genealogy event set June 15-16

The Palatines to America German Genealogy Society’s 2018 National Conference is being held Friday, June 15, and Saturday, June 16, in the Adams Mark Hotel, 120 Church St., Buffalo. The keynote speakers are John Colletta and Baerbel Johnson, both nationally known for their expert knowledge of German genealogy. Six additional speakers with varied genealogical expertise round out the two-day program, providing a variety of topics and information. Interclub golf event scheduled for July 3

The Erie County Department of Parks, Recreation and Forestry, in conjunction with The First Tee of Western New York and the Buffalo District Golf Association, has announced the formation of a First Tee Interclub event for Tuesday, July 3, at the Grover Cleveland Golf Course, 3781 Main St., Buffalo. Teams from more than 30 clubs in the BDGA play in “interclub” events throughout the golf season, bringing the area’s top junior golfers together in a round-robin format.
