Bee Heard

.Every year, when it comes to Canal Fest time, the committee always has problems and threatens they may not be able to have it. It is the only thing we have in the Twin Cities, but they find reasons to say they can’t have it. If they bring it downtown to the harbor, people from Tonawanda won’t be going there. It is so overcrowded at the harbor now; it will get so busy, people will stop going there. Why don’t we keep something that belongs in the Twin Cities right here in the Twin Cities?

.I don’t know why the City of Tonawanda mayor wants to close Young Street and divert traffic around and down Main Street so people will shop the stores. There is nothing on Main Street; there is a taco shop, a pizzeria and a bar.
