Bee Heard

.I used to really like the City of Tonawanda mayor, but now I’m having second thoughts. Closing Young Street was a horrible thing to do.

.It’s about time Erie County passes a law banning people from smoking on their front porches. I’m tired of walking down the street and having the smoke come off people’s porches. That second-hand smoke causes cancer. Erie County officials, ban smoking on porches. If you want to smoke, go in your house.

.The Army Corps of Engineers is going to dredge the Buffalo River and dump the sediment in a wetland at the end of Unity Island, where it can leach into the upper Niagara River and into the water intakes. I guess we don’t have enough cancer victims in this area; we need more. Please speak up. You have children and grandchildren; they are depending on you.
