Albert E. Zuber, retired ECC professor


Zuber Zuber Albert E. Zuber, 73, of West Seneca and formerly of North Tonawanda and Elma, died Sunday, July 1, 2018.

Mr. Zuber served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War from 1966 to 1968. He was a radio teletype operator and stock control supervisor.

Mr. Zuber was a retired professor at Erie Community College in the Business Administration Department. He was also an adjunct professor at area colleges as well as at Attica and Wyoming prisons. He was a former member and president of Knights of St. John and a life member and past president of Alpha Kappa Chapter of Delta Sigma Pi.

He received a national defense service medal, a Vietnam service medal, three bronze service stars and an expert rifle medal.

Mr. Zuber is survived by his wife, Cheryl (nee Goodman); two children, Vicki Casias and Dyan Zuber; and three grandchildren. He was preceded in death by three siblings, Jerry Zuber, Ruth Szabo and Pat Wilson.
